Dr. Dimitra D.  Dionysiou is the Health Technologies Division Leader at i-SENSE Group. She holds a diploma/MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, a PhD in Biomedical Technology, and an MSc in Bioinformatics. Dr. Dionysiou has been working for many years in the development of ICT technology in the health domain, mainly within the framework of EC-funded multidisciplinary projects (e.g., ONCOSCREEN, ONCODIR, NIGHTINGALE, HEALTHY SAILING, CURSOR, BOUNCE, CHIC, DrTherapat, MyHealthAvatar, p-medicine, TUMOR, ContraCancrum, ACGT). Her research interests include digital health and personalized medicine, mechanistic and machine learning models in healthcare, decision support systems, as well as technologies for emergency medicine. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles (full list: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Dimitra_Dionysiou) and has strong experience in research project management in interdisciplinary settings. Dr. Dionysiou has served multiple times as an independent expert evaluator of the European Commission for EU-funded proposals, and as a reviewer for various journal publications. She is a trained member of the Ethics Expert group of the European Commission for Horizon Europe.
