ICCS is participating in the ALICE European Technology Platform in Logistics (http://www.etp-logistics.eu) since 2014, being an active member of the Working Group 3 Information Systems for Inter-connected Logistics.
On the 7th of July 2017, during the ALICE Plenary Meeting in Graz, Austria, the Elections for the ALICE Executive Board and Steering Committee took place.
Angelos Amditis, our Research Director, was elected in the Steering Committee of ALICE with a vast majority of the votes.
The Steering Committee has a wide participation of key logistics actors, from the industrial sector, such as P&G, FM Logistics, Poste Italiane, MAN, VOLVO, PTV and GS1, to major intermodal hubs, such as Valencia Port, Interporto Bologna and high-profile research centres, like Fraunhofer IML, Mines Paris Tech and KLU.
This achievement places our Group in an even more prominent position in the domain of Transport and Logistics and increases our visibility within a key actor and policy maker of the European supply chain.
