Dr. Tina Katika is a Project Manager at ICCS since September 2020. She holds a diploma in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering (University of Patras). She has obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Denmark and has worked as a researcher in Colorado School of Mines. Until 2016 she was a researcher and consultant for Maersk Oil and Orsted, which led to significant innovations in the oil and gas sector. She is an author of more than 20 peer-reviewed publications at scientific journals and international conference proceedings.
For the past four years, she has been working as a Product Owner and Project Manager at Labster, focusing on the field of gamification of education using virtual lab simulations. Tina is experienced in agile development processes and product management (market research, product development, and customer experience) in VR/AR products that have reached users in multidisciplinary sectors (universities, healthcare, and corporates).
