The European research project interactIVe has achieved key results towards the goal of accident-free traffic, by developing the next generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for safer and more efficient driving.
After four years of leading research, we cordially invite you to find out more about these new solutions and to experience performing safety applications in several demonstrator vehicles.
The interactIVe Final Event will be held
on November 20thand 21st, 2013
at the Eurogress Convention Center in Aachen (Germany)
and the Ford Proving Ground in Lommel (Belgium).
By attending this unique event, you will be able to network with project partners, discover the latest developments in active safety during a dedicated conference and experience live demonstrations on vehicles which actively brake and steer to avoid dangerous situations. The event will be combined with the partner project eCoMove, which has created an integrated cooperative solution for energy efficiency in road transport, through eco-driving support and eco-traffic management.
On the conference day (20th of November) the results of the two projects will be shown via technical presentations and in a common exhibition at the EUROGRESS, Aachen. Several related topics addressed by interactIVe and eCoMove will be highlighted, including cooperative systems and platforms, strategies for vehicle control and Human-Vehicle-Interaction. On the second day (21st of November) advanced functions will be presented during a driving session with the interactIVe demonstrator vehicles. A shuttle bus will transfer participants to the Ford Proving Ground in Lommel, Belgium.
