Vassilis Kaffes graduated on July 2011 from the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering of NTUA (National Technical University of Athens). His diploma thesis was on clustering and tracking on single layer Laser scanner data. He has worked for 3 years in the hydrology department of the school of civil engineering in NTUA and has participated in 2 European projects: ETC/W and OpenMI Association. Currently he is member of I-SENSE group. He successfully worked on the European project EuroFOT. Currently he is working on MiniFaros (http://www.minifaros.eu/) and PowerUp (http://www.power-up.org/) projects. He is familiar with various programming languages (C#, Java, Python, C++), database management systems (Postgres, Oracle, mySQL, SQLite) and web services. He is also familiar with windows platforms and different linux distributions (debian, suse). He is member of Technical Chamber of Greece.
