Dr. Areti Tzelepi studied for her Diploma in Physics at the University of Patras and she continued for the MSc in Software Engineering at the University of Liverpool, England. She obtained her PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Patras. During the PhD, she spent 2 years in the Dept of Neurology, State University of N.York, USA, where she worked with electrophysiological recordings of Visual Evoked Potentials and high frequency related activity (gamma and beta range). She has spent 1 year for postdoc studies in the MEG center of the Brain Science Institute, Riken, Tokyo, Japan and 3 years in the Laboratory of Physiology of Perception and Action, in College de France, Paris. Her current research interests include visual perception and brain activity during eye movement preparation and shifts of attention.
